"History isn't something you look back at and say it was inevitable, it happens because people make decisions that are sometimes very impulsive and of the moment, but those moments are cumulative realities." - Marsha P. Johnson, key figure in the Stonewall riots
LGBTQ+ Pride Month is celebrated each June in commemoration of the Stonewall riots that occurred in June of 1969. These riots sparked an uprising that would launch a new era of resistance, revolution, and change. We are proud to celebrate and recognize all of the victories made within the LGBTQ+ community while continuing to actively support and give to communities that serve LGBTQ+ communities across the world.
This year Grapevine is shining a spotlight on a few giving circles that contribute to the wellbeing, visibility, and betterment of LGBTQ+ movements, causes, non-profits, and people. A few of our featured circles are Black Trans Lives Thrive, LGBTQ+ Equity, The Visibility Impact Fund, Out, LGBT Giving Council, LGBTQI, LGBTQ Latinx, and LGBTQ AAPI!
